These terms apply to all users of the website, including those making enquiries, booking consultation calls, or engaging in therapeutic coaching sessions.
About the Service
This website provides in-person and online therapeutic coaching services through individual sessions and/or family sessions.
Services are intended to support emotional wellbeing and psychological understanding but are not a substitute for emergency medical care, crisis intervention, or psychiatric services.
Free 20-Minute Consultation Calls
A free 20-minute consultation call is offered to discuss your needs and determine whether the service may be appropriate for you.
The consultation call:
Is informal and introductory in nature
Does not constitute therapy or psychological treatment
Does not establish a therapeutic relationship
Is not intended for crisis support or urgent mental health concerns
There is no obligation to continue with sessions following the consultation call.
Booking and Payment
Sessions must be booked in advance.
Payment details, session fees, and payment timing will be agreed prior to commencing sessions.
Cancellation Policy:
Appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rearranged or refunded where appropriate
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full
Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice may result in the full session fee being charged
If you are running late, please inform me where possible. Sessions may still need to end at the scheduled time.
Confidentiality
Information shared within sessions will be treated confidentially and handled respectfully and securely.
However, confidentiality may need to be broken in certain circumstances, including:
Concerns regarding serious risk of harm to yourself or others
Safeguarding concerns involving a child or vulnerable adult

Where possible, this would be discussed with you first.

You may submit questions or enquiries through the website contact form.

Please do not include highly sensitive, confidential, or urgent information within website forms or emails.
Submitting an enquiry does not establish a therapist-client relationship.
While reasonable efforts are made to respond promptly, immediate responses cannot be guaranteed.
Online Sessions
Online sessions require access to:
A stable internet connection
A private and appropriate environment
A suitable device for video calls
If technical difficulties interrupt a session, reasonable efforts will be made to reconnect or rearrange where appropriate.
Clients are responsible for ensuring privacy on their own device and within their environment during sessions.
In-person sessions require:
Attendance at the agreed location and time. Sessions are held in a private therapy room in Exeter, unless another location is arranged.
Appropriate behaviour and respect for the venue and others present
Sufficient notice if you are unable to attend or are running late
Clients are responsible for their own travel arrangements and for arriving on time for appointments.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent a session from taking place (for example, venue issues, severe weather, illness, or other exceptional circumstances), reasonable efforts will be made to rearrange the appointment at a mutually convenient time.
